AI landing copy has a smell: "unlock," "seamless," "empower," "the future of." Users bounce before they know what you sell.
I don't need a "humanizer skill." I need a rewrite pass that forces specifics from the product I actually shipped.
The rewrite prompt
Rewrite this landing copy for [product].
Rules:
- Lead with the pain removed, not the technology
- Use exact numbers only if I provide them — never invent social proof
- Ban: unlock, seamless, empower, cutting-edge, game-changer, AI-powered as a vibe word
- Short sentences. No em dashes used as decoration
- Sound like a 19-year-old who ships software, not a brand deck
Product facts you must use (and nothing else):
[paste: who it's for, what it does, price if any, one concrete outcome]
Current draft:
[paste]
The kill pass
After you like a draft, run:
Circle every sentence that could appear on a competitor's site unchanged. Rewrite those so they could only be about this product.
What I keep human
- The headline
- The one-sentence promise
- Pricing rationale
AI can draft FAQ and feature bullets. The promise still needs your taste.
For visual direction once the copy is tight, use 100 image codes for hero / product shots — don't let Midjourney invent a different brand than the words.
This is the copy bar I hold for products like Insidr — see it live.
