This page explains how Ethan Ha (“I”, “me”) handles information on ethangpt.com. This site is a newsletter and resource library — not a payments product.

What I collect

• Email address — when you subscribe to the newsletter.
• IP address — used briefly in memory to rate-limit signup and unsubscribe requests. It is not stored as a profile.
• Product analytics — if analytics is enabled, PostHog (US cloud by default) may collect page views and interaction events (for example newsletter signup and resource clicks), including first-party cookies.

How email is used

Your email is used only to send the Ethan Ha newsletter and related operational messages (for example confirming an unsubscribe). I do not sell your email.

Processors

Email is stored as a Resend contact (newsletter audience) and newsletter issues are sent with Resend. Hosting is on Vercel. Analytics, when enabled, uses PostHog.

Unsubscribe

Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. You can also use the link in the email headers (List-Unsubscribe). After you unsubscribe, you should stop receiving issues.
